The ServSafe® program is developed by the National Restaurant Association with the help of foodservice industry experts who face the same risks you do every day. Your concerns are our concerns.

Our years of experience and inside knowledge of the foodservice industry are at the core of our courses, exams and materials. We will prepare you to handle food sanitation risks. 

Our materials help define food safety best practices because we involve specialists from regulatory agencies, academia, and the foodservice industry to create them. ServSafe materials reflect the latest science, research and FDA Food Code.

Certified ServSafe Instructors and Registered ServSafe Proctors must meet minimum experience and educational requirements. You can be confident that practical, real-world experience guides your training.

The fee covers materials, instructor, exam and certificate presentation.

If you have already completed the course/training and are only in need of the proctored exam, please register for our exam only session.

Safe Sleep: Is your baby sleeping safely?  Parents & caregivers will learn the top 10 tips for a safe sleep environment.  Sort through the myths and facts, and see what a safe sleep space looks like.  PURPLE: Did you know babies could cry like this?  Parents and caregivers learn that infant crying is a normal part of every infant's development, and will come away with an understanding of crying, what to expect, how to keep the baby safe, and tips on how to navigate this time in a healthy, supportive way.

If you only need to take the ServSafe exam because you have already completed the necessary training, you may register to have your test proctored at our center.

If you need the training, please register for the class & exam session.

Join us for an end of year ceramic class.  This class will contain all of the left over ceramics from our classes this year.  Price range will go from $6 to $25.  This will be a first come, first serve deal.  We will open the classroom at 4 pm and close it at 9 pm.

We are holding an Informational Meeting on our Italy trip on March 14th at 6 pm. The meeting will take place at Adult Ed, so please come to our door to be let in. This is a great time to ask all the questions to have about this amazing trip!

If you can not attend this meeting in person we will be sending out a Zoom link to anyone who registers for this meeting.

Have you ever wanted to go to New York City? Now is your chance! Adult Education is preparing an amazing trip for June/July of 2025. Want to hear more about it? Join us on Thursday, May 30th from 6 to 8 pm. We will have hand outs and will be able to answer all of your questions.

On June 1st Presque Isle will be holding their annual City Wide Yard Sale. If you want to participate but live too far out of town or in another town we have an option for you. We are selling off parking spaces in our parking lot (behind the high school) for $7 each to put your garage sale items in.

Set up will start at 6:30 am on Saturday and we will close up by 3 PM. We will be doing this Saturday ONLY. (Cars can be parked in the upper parking lot). We have 45 spots available and if we max that out will be see about opening more spots.
